OPTICBIO-Minifluo
The OPTICBIO-MiniFluo product is a small portable instrument to optically characterize the fluorescence emission of biologic material intrinsically fluorescent or marked with a fluorescent probe. It offers 2 or 6 measurement cells to conduct a contemporary identical experiment on two different samples or on samples and a blank reference. The sensor consists of a cell made of black delrin that hosts the optical components and a removable micro sample holder (vol. 130ml), that can be provided also in quartz to allow the maximum transmission of UV light.
Fluorescence excitation is provided perpendicularly to the bottom of the microcell by a Light Emitting Diode, while emission is measured by a photodiode coupled to a band-pass filter located at 90° with respect to the LED, on the cell vertical side.
The biosensor systems belonging to the FLUORESCENCE-BIOSENS line are modular, portable, flexible, low size and weight instruments for fluorescence measurement of a wide range of biologic samples deposited in the approriate cell container.
They are equipped with onboard electronic control board for data read-out, processing and storage.
Keyboard and display can be used to set-up the programmable parameters and a USB connection supports the data transfer to PC. An optional software for remote control, real time results display and data analysis is also available.
The FLUORESCENCE-BIOSENS products can be used for applications in biotechnology, biochemistry, environmental monitoring (e.g. water pollutants, drinking water quality control, waste water analysis), agriculture and industrial process control .
