Biosensor was born in Palombara Sabina (Rome) in September 2003 from the cooperation of researchers, private investors and DAS Srl. Dr. Basile Giovanni is the managing director.

Biosensor’s activity aims at supporting basic life sciences through advanced manufacturing and multidisciplinary competences, attracting new business and research opportunities.

Biosensor provides expertise in design, prototype fabrication, calibration, testing and product engineering of miniaturized modular automated instruments for biotechnology, agrofood, environmental monitoring, biomedical application.

Technology transfer is a main activity, from research to market and between different application contexts (e.g. from Earth to Space and viceversa).
